Coronavirus Forces Reshuffling Of Several Area Meetings

LOW MOOR — The Coronaviris has forced a reshuffling of several meetings throughout the Alleghany Highlands.
The regular March meeting of the Alleghany County School Board will be held  this evening at 5:30 p.m. at the central office.
The school board is expected to approve its 2020-21 operating budget during the meeting. The board is scheduled to present its budget proposal to the Alleghany County Board of Supervisors at a Tuesday, March 24, meeting.
Clifton Forge Town Council also cancelled a work session scheduled for Tuesday evening. 
The Bath County Board of Supervisors will hold a budget work session this evening beginning at 6 p.m.
The meeting will now be held in the Bath County Circuit Courtroom.
A Bath County Planning Commission meeting, scheduled for Monday, March 23, has been cancelled.
A Bath County Workforce Housing Assessment Study results meeting, scheduled for Tuesday,?March 31, has also been cancelled.
That meeting was to be held at the Hot Springs Fire and Rescue Building.
