Library To Host Miss Spider’s Tea Party

The Alleghany Highlands Regional Library will host Miss Spider’s Tea Party on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Children of all ages are invited to join guest reader Jolene Feazell in the W.N. “John” Rice Community Room for this educational and fun program.
“We’re excited to welcome Miss Jolene and looking forward to continuing one of our favorite library traditions for young readers,” AHRL staff member Tori Fertig explained. “Children attending the party will listen to a story, complete a fun craft, and enjoy a snack. At the end of the program, children get to choose a new book to take home.”
All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This event is held in conjunction with the Alleghany County Public Schools’ Title I program.
For more information about this event or other AHRL programs, visit the library at 406 W. Riverside St. in Covington or call the staff at 962-3321.
Other programs and activities may be accessed on the library’s website at www.ahrlib.org or on their Facebook or Instagram pages.
