Edna Johnson Foscoe, 87, of the Woodlands, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Alleghany Regional Hospital in Low Moor.
Mrs. Foscoe was formerly of Church Street in Clifton Forge.
She was born July 27, 1922 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late Stuart W. and Mary Agnor Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Foscoe in 1967; two sons, Ruben Foscoe in December 2009 and Ashby Foscoe and a number of brothers and sisters.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Teresa Ayers of Covington; grandson, Greg and Heather Entsminger of Clifton Forge; Charity and Herbert Simmons Jr. of Covington and Kari Brown of Covington; seven great-grandchildren, Afton Potter, Kaleigh Entsminger, Eli Entsminger, Ean Entsminger, Casey Simmons, Sierra Brown and Andrew Cole and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Virgil Woodie officiating.
The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time on Wednesday.
The interment will follow in Iron Gate Hill Cemetery.
