He was a member of Sinking Creek Baptist Church.

He was a member of the Professional Golf Association and an employee of Warriors Path Golf Course. He was also a retired school teacher. His true joy was his grandchildren. One of his last quotes was “I am ready to be with the Lord but not ready to leave my grandchildren”.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. this evening at Sinking Creek Baptist Church followed by a Celebration of Life Service. The Rev. Reece Harris and the Rev. Tom Stanley will officiate.

Interment services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Washington County Memory Gardens.

Active pallbearers will be the staff of Warriors Path Golf Course. Honorary pallbearers will be the Volunteer Park Rangers of Warriors Path Golf Course.
