Students at Covington High School experienced the Choice Bus which visited CHS Friday.
The Choice Bus is a converted school bus, with one part converted to a classroom and the other part outfitted as a jail cell.
The bus, which travels to middle schools and high schools throughout the United States, is designed to emphasize to students the importance of staying in school and making good decisions.
The visit was funded by the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office and the Alleghany Highlands Community Services Board.
