CLIFTON FORGE – The Registered Nursing Staff of Mountain Regional Hospice in Clifton forge recently completed their recertification requirements in Intravenous Therapy.
The Virginia Office of Licensure and Certification required any agency offering intravenous therapy to their patients complete training in infusion therapy. Each RN employed by Mountain Regional Hospice has successfully taken the Intravenous Therapy Exam and has completed the recertification process.
Those RN’s who are Certified Intravenous Therapy Nurses are Kathy Hall, RN, BSN, CHPN; Marie Dudley, RN, CHPN; Cheryl Persinger, RN, CHPN; Libby Burger, RN, CHPN; Dr. Brenda Lindsay; Susan Sparks, RN; Anne Donovan, RN, MSN, CHPN; Julie Jackson, RN, CHPN.

“They spend many hours on their own time researching and studying so that our patients can be assured the best of care. Each time a patient is admitted with has new diagnosis, the nurse assigned to that patient will present her peers with an in-service related to the diagnosis.
