CLIFTON FORGE – Raymond Elwood Brady, 69, of The Golden Living Center, Clifton Forge, and formerly of Belton, Texas, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor.
Born July 12, 1940 in Clifton Forge, Raymond was a son of the late Andrew Brady and Mamie Louise Morgan Brady Hewitt. He served in the United States Army as a Private First Class during the Vietnam War. He was self employed and attended Immanuel Baptist Church and Lone Star Advent Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Catherin Putnam and three brothers, Gerald Wayne Brady, Andrew Franklin Brady and Richard Cleveland Brady.
He is survived by two brothers, William George “Trippy” Brady and wife, Linda Faye and Lee Wilson “Tumpy” Brady and wife, Helen, all of Clifton Forge, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
His body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Friends may call at the residence of William and Linda Brady, 104 Walton Church Lane, Clifton Forge.
