HOPEWELL – Florence Seal Jack, 91, of Hopewell, and formerly of Millboro and Covington, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 in Hopewell.
While in Covington, she was a member of Edgemont Associate Reform Presbyterian Church.
She was a graduate of John Tyler Community College in Richmond and a member of the Virginia Nurses Association.
She was a retired Registered Nurse from John Randolph Medical Center and a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church in Hopewell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Watson Jack in May 1983.
She is survived by her daughter, Frances W. Jack and many second cousins.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Millboro Christian Church Cemetery, Millboro with the Rev. Donnie Bowker officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12 until 1:30 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, with a precession to leave for the cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
