The American Cancer Society held its annual Relay For Life Saturday at the Jackson River Sports Complex in Covington.
There were 218 walkers comprising 15 teams participating in Saturday’s walk, and over 600 luminaries lit in honor and memory of cancer victims at dusk during the luminaria ceremony.
To date, this year’s campaign has raised over $33,000.
Anyone wishing to make a donation or needing to turn in outstanding money may call Andrea Britt, ACS community manager, at (540) 330-8902.
