BEDFORD CO, Va. (VR) – Virginia State Police is investigating a single-vehicle crash, which resulted in a fatality. The crash occurred Thursday, (Dec 19) at 10:53 p.m. on Route 460, one quarter mile west of Camp Jaycee Road in Bedford County.
A 2018 Toyota Corolla was traveling east on Route 460, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, down an embankment and overturned.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Lloyd Nelson Furrow, 46, of Montvale, Va. Mr. Furrow was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
