The Covington Municipal Pool at Main Street Park will be open Memorial Day weekend (May 29-31) from noon to 6 p.m.
The pool will open for the summer season Saturday, June 5. Regular pool hours will be Monday-Saturday, noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 to 6 p.m.
Admission will be $3 for adults and $2 for students.
Swimming lessons will also be offered the following weeks: June 21-25, 5:15 to 6 p.m.; July 12-16, 5:15 to 6 p.m.; July 19-23, 11 to 11:45 a.m.; July 26-30, 5:15 to 6 p.m.; Aug. 2-6, 5:15 to 6 p.m.
The cost for swimming lessons will be $25 per week, per child. There will be a limit of 10 students per class.
Season passes to the pool are also be offered by the Covington Department of Parks and Recreation.
Applications for purchasing the passes are available the Recreation office at city hall.
Private pool parties will be available from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday-Sunday.
All available dates for pool parties for the 2010 season have been booked. Pool parties for 2011 will not be booked until Oct. 1.
Poolside concessions will be open during pool hours.
