COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – At the conclusion of closed session on Monday, November 18, 2024 the School Board took the following personnel action:
The School Board approved the appointment of Kim A. Jefferson as School Secretary at Alleghany High School.
In Extra-Curricular activities the School Board approved Charles D. Leitch as Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach; Dawn N. Sales; and Abigail C. Shingler; both as Scholastic Bowl Assistant Coaches; all at Alleghany High School.
The School Board accepted the resignations Marshall A. Puckett; Custodian at Alleghany High School; and Stephania J. Hunter; Teacher at Jeter-Watson Elementary School.
The School Board accepted the retirement of Lisa L. Boothe; Reading Specialist at Mountain View Elementary School effective June 30, 2025.
