Gordon Ray Jeffries, Jr.
Gordon Ray Jeffries, Jr., age 77, of 7617 Dunlap Creek Road, Covington, Virginia died on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at his residence.
Gordon was born on February 5, 1947 to the late Gordon Ray Jeffries, Sr. and Margie Louise Watts Jeffries. He was the second assistant on # 8 paper machine for Westvaco, retiring after 44 years.
He is survived by his wife, Beverley Whetzel Jeffries of Covington; his children, Brian Jeffries of Covington, and Joy Judy (Ed) and Jimmy Jeffries, both of White Sulphur Springs, WV; a sister, Sherry Jeffries; two brothers, Eddie Jeffries and Barry Jeffries; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. There are no services planned at this time.
