VFW Post 1033 Auxiliary is excited to report that 500 thank you cards!!! were sent to local nursing homes, individuals and surrounding area veterans hospitals with the support of our ever-giving Alleghany Highlands community.

We will be sending Christmas cards in December. If you have a loved one you would like us to honor, please send the information to marianpaxton@gmail.com. Our auxiliary takes every opportunity to recognize and say “thank you” to all the men and women who served our country.
Please come out on the 11th month, the 11th day, the 11th hour (November 11th at 11:00 am) at the courthouse to pay tribute to these men and woman.
