CLINTONVILLE, W.Va. – Gary Allen Tincher, 59, of Clintonville, passed away early Tuesday morning, Jan. 26, 2010, at CAMC Memorial Division in Charleston, W.Va., following a long illness.
Born May 4, 1950, at Quinwood, W.Va., the son of the late Jack Eugene Tincher Sr. and Frances Belle Thomas Tincher of Clintonville.
Other than his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Tincher.
Gary enjoyed fishing and hunting. Prior to being disabled by illness in 1994, he worked as a truck driver for Strader Trucking Company, hauling coal.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Kaye Gardner Tincher of Clintonville; his mother, Frances Tincher of Clintonville; two sons, Paul Tincher and wife, Stephanie of Covington, and Michael Tincher of Lewisburg, W.Va.; a sister, Rebecca Taylor of Rupert, W.Va.; a brother, Jack “Duke” Tincher of Crab Orchard, W.Va.; two sisters-in-law, Sandra and Theresa Tincher; a brother-in-law, Stephen Taylor; several nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Denny Polk.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home Chapel in Rainelle,W.Va., with the Rev. Bill Hartsfield officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
