CLIFTON FORGE – James David “Red” Kitt, 63, of 801 White Rock Gap Road, Covington, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge.
He was born in Low Moor, Oct. 22, 1946, a son of the late Norville Bishop and Eula Mae Bush Kitt.
He was a retired construction laborer.
He is survived by three brothers, Leonard O. Kitt of Low Moor, Preston W. Kitt of Selma and Johnny R. Kitt of Richmond. He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Tina Blair of Low Moor; and special friend, Frances Fairburn of White Rock Gap, Covington.
He was preceded in death by a sister Alice Marie Marshall ;and by brothers Vernon Kitt, Melvin Lewis Kitt and Henry Kitt.
In keeping with his wishes, his body was cremated. There will be no funeral service at this time.
