The Alleghany Highlands 11-under baseball team recently won the Hitters Longball Classic in Christiansburg.
They went 5-0, beating NRV Hurricanes (8-4), Blacksburg Pride (16-1), The Avalanche (11-2), Virginia Tide (8-4) and the Abingdon Falcons (7-5) in the championship game.
