Eugene F. Folks, USMCR, 90, of Bradenton, Fla., and formerly of Hot Springs, Honolulu, Hawaii, and the many places far off and in-between, passed away in the late afternoon Friday, May 14, 2010 at his residence in Florida.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Hot Springs, with the Rev. David Cox officiating.
Interment will be in Warm Springs Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in a celebration of Gene’s life immediately following the graveside services at the Gristmill Inn.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Gene’s service to the Injured Marine Semper FI Fund, 825 College Blvd., Suite 102, PMB 609, Oceanside, Calif. 92057.
