WARM SPRINGS- It wasn’t just last week in Bath County’s 63-0 slaughter of Bland County. And it was not just a game or two here and there either, actually.
It’s been the entire season.
Bath County’s defensive football team is one of the stingiest and most impressive units in some time, and for their collective efforts week in and week out, the Chargers whole defense is this week’s voted winners of the Virginian Review Bath Co. ‘Football Friday’ player(s) of the week.
The defense recorded another shutout last week, have allowed just 18 points all season, and has at least one interception and/or fumble recovery in every game this season.
