The Friends of the Clifton Forge Public Library will hold a book sale on Friday, October 4 and Friday, October 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm; on Saturday, October 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; and on Saturday, October 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Members of the Friends of the Clifton Forge Public Library may shop during the Pre-Sale on Thursday, October 3 and Thursday, October 10, from 3:00–7:00 p.m. Members receive a ten percent discount. If you are not a member, you are welcome to join during the Pre-Sale; however, you may join the Friends of the Library at any time throughout the year.
Available will be a large selection of new and old books, audio books, CDs, and DVDs, along with some games and puzzles. There is a wide selection of books from which to choose and new stock will be added for the second weekend.
As the book collection has outgrown its space in the library, the Clifton Forge Presbyterian Church is graciously allowing the Friends of the Library to use their fellowship hall for the book sale. The church is located across the street from the library on the corner of Jefferson and Church Streets. Enter the fellowship hall through the Jefferson Street entrance.
The funds raised from the book sales are used to purchase new library materials and to support library programs.
