Clifton Forge, Va. – Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is thrilled to unveil an exceptional study abroad opportunity for both MGCC students and the community.
The upcoming 10-day Gateway to Italy trip in May 2025 will provide an immersive experience in three historical Italian city-states – Venice, Florence, and Rome. Participants will gain insight into the unique contributions of these cities to art, history, and geopolitics and indulge in the rich cultural offerings, daily life, customs, and cuisine that define “la dolce vita” – the sweet life.
The program features a chance for attendees to visit the celebrated Venice Biennale, one of the world’s foremost art exhibitions, during free time. The meticulously designed curriculum integrates guided learning, cultural engagement, and independent exploration to foster the development of global competency.
Interested individuals are invited to attend the Gateway to Italy information sessions to learn more about this enriching opportunity. These sessions will be held on September 9 at 5 p.m. via Zoom, September 12 at noon and 6 p.m. at the MGCC Career Center, and September 16 at 11
