The annual Nicelytown picnic and gospel sing will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Lone Star AC Church Family Life
Center located on Nicelytown Road, 5 miles east of Clifton Forge.
The picnic and musical event remain free and open to the public and is hosted by the William Nicely family. The Picnic begins at 5PM indoors
with meat, drinks, and bread provided. Attendees may bring a covered dish or dessert if they would like, and ample seating is available. The
gospel sing begins at 6:00pm with music provided by “Joyful Praise”, “Milk and Honey”, and “The Announcers” with special guest soloist David Crosier.
This yearly event has drawn hundreds together for an evening of fellowship, good food, and great messages in song. Each year donations are received to benefit a worthy cause. This year all donations will benefit the Camp Accovac Christian Youth Retreat in Bath County.
The event will be held indoors rain or shine.
