WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. – Betty Maxine Dolin, 74, of Alvon, W.Va., went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon, Feb. 11, 2010, from Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Fairlea, W.Va.
Born Dec. 18, 1935, at White Sulphur Springs, she was a daughter of the lateRoscoe and Myrtle Fife Steele.
Mrs. Dolin was a member of Alvon United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee from The Greenbrier with 17 years service.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Palmer Dolin, and a daughter-in-law, Diane Dolin.
Survivors include three sons; Palmer Dolin Jr. of Alvon, Eddie Dolin of Arlington, and David Dolin of Union, W.Va.; and a daughter, Joyce Dolin of Alvon; a sister, Cleda Steele of White Sulphur Springs; and Kenneth Steele who was close to her as a brother. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Alvon United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bobby McClintic, Buck Caldwell and the Rev. Gary Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Alvon United Methodist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from noon until the service at 2 p.m.
