Esther Boone

Esther Randozzo Boone, 56, of 1203 North Alleghany Avenue, died Tuesday morning, January 12, 2010, at her residence.

Mrs. Boone was born June 9, 1953, in Bath County, a daughter of the late John and Esther Pritt Randozzo.

She had retired in 1996 as a machine operator for the former Halmode Inc. plant in Covington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Edward Boone, in 1996.

Surviving are her daughter, Heather Boone, of Covington; two sons, Daniel Boone and

Bobby Randozzo, both of Covington; five sisters, Irene Rupley and her husband, Wally, of Roanoke, Nora Miller and her husband, George, of Christiansburg, Neafor Randozzo and Janet Munsey and her husband, Rob, all of Covington and Bertha May Javins and her husband, George, of Millboro; one brother, John Randozzo and his wife, Donna, of Craigsville, and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Boone’s body has been cremated.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday evening at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Arritt Funeral Home.

The family will receive their friends following the service at Arritt Funeral Home.
