Approval of the minutes of: (1) a regular meeting held on August 6, 2024.
PUBLIC HEARING:
Public Hearing to consider amendments to Chapter 62 – Water, Sewer and Sewage Disposal of “The Code of the County of Alleghany, Virginia” in Article X – Payment of Service Charges and Article XI – Disconnection and Reconnection to amend disconnection policies due to new Code of Virginia regulations.
Public Hearing to consider an amendment to the County Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 in the amount of $1,920,200.00. The amendment is needed for a supplemental appropriation to the School Operations Fund due to approval by the General Assembly of additional State funding.
