The Shadow
The AHRL hosted Science Heroes’ production of “Adventures of the Lost Treasure” this July! The program was held in the Granbery Memorial United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Kids and adults alike had a ball as science and stories collided in this interactive STEM show. The performers used events in the story to explore several exciting science concepts like air pressure, energy transfer, and more! Volunteers helped conduct each experiment and the whole audience got involved in changing variables, making predictions, and comparing results.
The AHRL would like to thank People’s Bank, 151 N. Court Ave., Covington, for generously sponsoring this program. This was one of the many fun activities held at Alleghany Highlands Regional Library this summer during their Summer Reading Program, “Adventure Begins at Your Library”.
