Bobby Lee Wolfe, Sr.
Bobby Lee Wolfe, Sr., age 65, of 4407 Upper Rich Patch Road, Covington, Virginia died Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at his residence.
Bobby was born on April 29, 1959 in Covington to the late Edward Hugh and Marjorie Lee Humphries Wolfe. He was a part of Hardee’s in Covington for over thirty years, and enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and listening to them play music. He attended Cliffdale Christian Church and Midway Christian Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Richmond Wolfe; a brother, Edward Lee “June Bug” Wolfe; a sister, Wanda Craft; a grandson, Conner Wolfe; a special uncle, Ronnie Wolfe; an aunt, Nancy Wolfe; and a special nephew, Jay Black.
He is survived by a daughter, Melissa Wolfe (husband, Jonathan Hambrick) of Williamsburg, WV; two sons, Bobby Lee Wolfe, Jr. (wife, Kelly) and Raymond Wolfe (wife, Angela), both of Covington; two sisters, Tammy Bryant of Maryland and Sandy Wolfe Black of Covington; a brother, Sammy Wolfe (wife, Teresea) of Maryland; five grandchildren, Harlee Wolfe, Taylor Wolfe (wife, Molly), Jacob Wolfe, Remmington Wolfe, and Paislea Wolfe; and a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, April Wolfe.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Michael Fisher officiating. Interment will follow on the family farm at 4407 Upper Rich Patch Road, Covington. Pallbearers will be Taylor Wolfe, Jacob Wolfe, Bobby Wolfe, Jr., Raymond Wolfe, Dakota Morris, Charlie Dunbar, Lewis Humphries, and Sammy Wolfe. Jonathan Hambrick will serve as an alternate. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.
