Jackson River Kiwanis Club members work on landscaping at JWIS

Members of the Jackson River Kiwanis Club braved heat and humidity on Aug. 6 by volunteering to spread mulch at Jeter-Watson Elementary School. Thanks to their work, the outdoor landscaping will have a fresh look when students return to school on Aug. 14. From left are Susan Knick, Pam Allen, Mandy Arritt, Valerie Humphreys, and John Reed.
