GLENN BURNIE, Md. – John R. “Rick” Black Jr. of Glenn Burnie, Md., died at home Monday, Dec. 7, 2009.
He was born Oct. 10, 1950, at the C&O Hospital in Clifton Forge.
Ricky loved Civil War history and music. He never married, but loved all of his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Rick worked at the National Security Agency for 26 years and was a faithful and loyal American.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Howard Black, of Millsboro, Del., and three brothers, Robert Black of Warren, Ark., James Black, of Magnolia, Del., and Paul Black of Bolivia, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Black Sr.
Internment was Dec. 10 at Barrat’s Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, Del.
