Alleghany County Supervisors Are Sworn In

Four members of the Alleghany County Board of Supervisors were sworn in Tuesday afternoon at the Alleghany County Courthouse.

Alleghany County Circuit Court Clerk Debra Byer, far left, administered the oath of office to members, from left, Paige Morgan, Suzanne Adcock, Carolyn Barnette and Steve Bennett.

Each will begin four-year terms beginning January 1.

Morgan, Barnett and Bennett are incumbents, while Adcock is a newcomer to the board. (Gavin Dressler Photo)
