Craig and Julie Helvey of Elliston announce the birth of their daughter, Maranda Sage Helvey, born August 13, 2009 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
She weighed 3 lbs., 10 ounces, and was 16 inches in length.
Maranda has a “special” big sister, Veronica Joann Helvey, 6.
Maternal grandparents are Carmon and Anna May Roop of Radford.
Paternal grandparents are Bobbie and Vernon Helvey of Covington.
Maternal great-grandmother is Treva Henley, of Radford.
