Rockbridge Area Community Services (RACS) has been serving the communities of Rockbridge, Bath, Lexington and Buena Vista since 1982. RACS provides a wide array of comprehensive services for children, adults and families throughout the entire lifespan. Our services include RAISE (early intervention), behavioral health services to students within the school setting, prevention services, therapy, case management, peer support, medication management, psychiatry, and 24/7 emergency services. We also offer group homes for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities (ID/D) as well as group day programs, Eagle’s Nest and Magnolia Center, for individuals with mental health or ID/D.
If you or someone you know needs assistance with a mental or behavioral health issue, has a developmental disability, or is struggling with substance use, RACS can help! We offer same day access to individuals seeking treatment and no one is ever denied services due to an inability to pay. Our staff are committed to fostering a welcoming environment and ensuring an inclusive, person-centered approach to care. We stand by our values of respect, acceptance, compassion, and support while seeking to cultivate an atmosphere that recognizes differences, promotes diversity and embraces individuality.
