The Clifton Forge Public Library will host the Rainbow Puppets on Wednesday, July 17. The program will begin at 11:00 a.m., and will be held at the Clifton Forge Fire Department, located at 701 Church Street.
The Rainbow Puppets will present “Beautiful Tales.” Sleeping Beauty brings to life the evil fairy, a wicked curse, and a brave plan that just has to work – all against a lively musical backdrop by Peter Tchaikovsky. The Ugly Duckling learns he is perfect just the way he is while “Beauty and the Beast”
adds to the new twist that each of these classic adventures take.
The program will include surprises and lots of audience participation.
“Beautiful Tales” is presented as part of the library’s summer reading program for children ages 3-12.
Parents or guardians should accompany their preschoolers and primary grade children.
