Mr. and Mrs. Winton M. Spencer II of Eagle Rock announce the engagement of their daughter, Alexis Marie Spencer, to Joshua David Horton, son of Mr. and Mrs. David M. Horton of Pilot Mountain, N.C.
Miss Spencer is a 2007 graduate of Calvary Christian School, King, N.C. She recently graduated from Jefferson College of Health Sciences with an associate’s degree in nursing. She is currently employed with Piedmont Gastroenterology in North Carolina as a Registered Nurse.
Mr. Horton graduated from White Plains Christian School in Mt. Airy, N.C. He currently attends Surry Community College and will graduate in December 2009. He is currently employed for Industries for the Blind in Winston-Salem, N.C.
An outdoor wedding is planned for June 19, 2010 at Rosa Lee Manor, Pilot Mountain, N.C.
Miss Spencer is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence R. Mason of Clifton Forge and Mr. and Mrs. Russell V. Spencer of Homosassa, Fla.
