The Shadow
The Miss Fall Foliage Pageant will be held Saturday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. at Alleghany High School.
Admission will be $5 per person.
Miss Cierra Mendoza, Miss Fall Foliage 2008, will relinquish her crown that night.
There are 23 young ladies competing for the title of 2009 Miss Fall Foliage.
Proceeds from the pageant are used to fund scholarships to both Alleghany High School and Covington High School and help in community organizations such as the Christmas Mother, humane society and after-prom parties.
Contestants this year are Carolina Wolfe, Kasandra Cantreras, Courtney Charles, Kathren O’Conner, Samantha Bowers, Sara Tolley, Kasey Ruble, Angel Shiflett, Mikayla Smith, Brandi Elmore, Alisabeth Stanley, Katherine day, Ashleigh Brie, Kirsten Holley, Montana Persinger, Hannah Dressler, Kara Smith, Chelsie Shamblin, Paige Martin, Anna Wilson, Kelsey Saounders, Katelyn Martin and Holly Fisher.
