Tia Ross of Lithonia, Ga., daughter of Donnell and Carla Ross, has been selected to participate in the 2010 Miss Georgia USA Pageant to be held Friday and Saturday in Cartersville, Ga. She will be competing as Miss DeKalb County and will compete in swimsuit, evening gown and personal interview competitions. The pageant system stresses good morals, physical fitness, communication skills, social awareness and community involvement. She is the granddaughter of Lorenzo Ross of Covington. She is attending Georgia State University and is being sponsored by a host of friends and family.
