Travis J. Braxton, 40, formerly of Covington, peacefully entered into eternaVAl rest on Monday, May 25, 2020, surrounded by love at his home.
Travis was born Feb. 4, 1980, to his loving parents Michael and Sharon Braxton and proceeded to light up the lives of everyone he encountered for the next 40 years.

His first duty assignment was as an Aircrew Life Support Technician at Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina. In 2000, Sergeant Braxton was selected to join the elite 89th Airlift Wing at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland where he directly supported the President of the United States and his Cabinet aboard Air Force One and Air Force Two. After dedicating 20 years to active duty military service, he began a second career as a Foreign Disclosure Officer Course Instructor for the Department of Defense.
