We begin our journey to the arrival of the The Wall That Heals’ on October 3-6, 2024 with these eight Vietnam Veterans. All paid some. Some paid all – SS Fred E. Barnette (KIA April 26, 1967) and CPL Carl Roger Crosier (KIA March 20, 1967). Thank you for your service.
It is truly an honor for Curtis A Smith VFW Post 1033 and Auxiliary to have the opportunity to recognize the men and women in our area who fought to protect the flag and our country. We thank the local post office for their support of this very special project.
On May 25, 2024, Kars Unlimited will be having their 4th annual Veterans in the Park Car Show at Jackson River Sports Complex. The event runs from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please come out and help us celebrate area veterans and say “thank you”. There will be some folks from VFW Post 1033 there if you have any questions.
Below is a list of the veterans on the current Wall of Valor. We will be doing another wall in the near future and would love to have you share your veteran with us. All it takes is a photo and brief write up to honor their service. Please reach out to Marian Paxton at 843-653-6098 or via marianpaxton@gmail.com.
