Nothing sweeter than summertime, cars, great food, kid’s activities and American Honey. It’s all happening Saturday, May 25 at the River Rock Amphitheatre located at the Jackson River Sport Complex. The events kick off at 10:00 am with a car show hosted by Kars Unlimited to honor our Veterans. We will have children activities from 3 to 7, music gets underway at 3:30 pm with the band Last Chance followed by American Honey from 6:30 to 9:30pm. Food and beverages will be available throughout the day from JKK Concessions, Slow Smoke Bistro and Flurries.
The Last Chance Band from southwest Virginia will get the summer concert series underway and rocking at 3:30 pm. They will provide the audience with a variety of music. Hope you can take a break and join us! Keeping the park rockin’ at 6:30 from Roanoke is the band American Honey. They have been playing together for about three years now but the members are no strangers to music they have over 30 years of combined experience. The very talented Jeff Dudley from right here in the Alleghany Highlands will be playing with them that evening. Also former Alleghany Highlands resident Jerry Neal is part of the band American Honey. They will be performing pop and rock music until the 9:30 hour.
This is a free and public event hosted by the City of Covington in conjunction with the Kars Unlimited.
