CARROLTON, Texas — Joseph Warren Watts of Carrollton, Texas was called Home to the Lord Sunday June 7, 2020.
Born July 12, 1972, to Richard Carrington Watts (Jodi) of Alleghany County (from Clifton Forge) and Mary Bennett Weiss (Edward) of Chugiak, Alaska (from Selma).
He is proceeded in death by grandparents, Joseph Daniel Watts and Mary Catherine Golladay Watts, Warren Hayes Bennett Sr. (Betty) and Fern Weikle Bennett; and uncle, Joseph Daniel Watts Jr. (Sandy)
He is survived by his parents; brothers, Jonathan Watts of Chugiak, Alaska and Jacob Watts of Alleghany county; sisters, Jessica Watts of Clifton Forge, Sarah and Lydia Weiss of Chugiak, Alaska; uncles, Warren Hayes Bennett Jr. of Troutville (Bonnie) and Wade Bennett of Rocky Mount; and nephews, Xavier and Draven.
Joe’s life passions were family, friends, music, reading and worship of Jesus.
Joe was a brilliant bass guitarist.
He dedicated his life and music to Christ.
Throughout his life made homes and many, many friends in Clifton Forge, Selma, North Carolina, Chugiak, Dillingham and Soldotna, Alaska, Portland, Ore. and Dallas, Texas.
Joe’s memorial and Celebration of life will be held at Calvary Christian Church, Covington, Saturday, June 20 at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Alleghany Memorial Park in Low Moor.
