Town Council To Conduct Meeting

IRON GATE — Iron Gate Town Council will conduct its regular April meeting Thursday at 7 p.m., at Town Hall, 401 Commerce Avenue.
The following items are on the agenda:
— Approval of minutes for regular council meeting conducted March 26, and the work session conducted April 20;
— Approval of receipts, disbursement and payment of bills;
— Mayor Chuck Unroe’s report;
— Public comment as texted to 540-960-1292;
— Old Business: Discussion on annual grant funds for Iron Gate Fire Department; Discussion on changing the wording for water, sewer and trash ordinances; Discussion on possible nuisance properties; Update on audit findings, schoolhouse project and sewer project;
— New Business: Vote on disbursing grant funds to Iron Gate Fire Department; Vote on changing the wording for the water, sewer and trash ordinances; Vote on declaring nuisance properties.
