The 15TH annual Alleghany Highlands Triathlon sponsored by Clifton Forge Main Street will be held on May 18, 2024. The event is a 5K run, 5-mile kayak and 10-mile bike beginning on Nicelytown Road at the Sharon Community Center; down the scenic Cowpasture River to the steel bridge followed by bike leg from McKinney Hollow Road to the finish line at the Masonic Amphitheater in Clifton Forge. Register today at Runsignup.com. Lunch, awards and prizes following race at the Amphitheater. Solo participants as well as relay teams are encouraged. Athletes receive race shirts.
