Alleghany Highlands Public Schools to be closed Wednesday due to winter weather

Given concerns for cold temperatures and road conditions on some/many secondary roads, AHPS will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17. The Alleghany Highlands area is under a wind chill advisory from the National Weather Service at this time. While the status of activities and trips is often announced by school sites because individual circumstances may vary, all AHPS trips, practices, games, and other activities are cancelled for Wednesday as well.
