The Alleghany County School Board of Supervisors Approve have approved the plan that would see Alleghany County and Covington City school systems merge together.
The Covington City School Board and Covington City Council will vote following a public hearing tomorrow at 6:30pm. at Covington High School’s Curfman Hall.
If the two school boards approve, it will then have to go to the state board of education for approval, followed by the state of General Assembly for final approval.
