Alleghany County / Covington Sheriff’s Office, Clifton Forge Police Department and Alleghany Highlands Community Services in partnership with the Clifton Forge Public Library and the Historic Masonic Theatre are sponsoring a Cyber Safety Program on Monday, November 13 at 6:00 p.m. This event will be held at Historic Masonic Underground. Children ages 11-18 and parents and guardians are invited and encouraged to attend this free event.
Sergeant J. J. Morris will cover a wide variety of topics, including digital footprints, cyberbullying and cyberstalking, online child predators, social media, video games, sextortion, and how to protect yourself and your children.
A question and answer session will conclude the program.
