Alleghany County announces closings in observance of Memorial Day

COVINGTON, Va. (VR) – County offices located in the County Governmental Complex, 9212 Winterberry Avenue, Covington, VA, will be closed on Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day.

These offices will reopen for business on Tuesday, May 30.

Additionally, the Island Ford Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, May 27, but will be open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on May 29.
