CLIFTON FORGE, Va. (VR) – On Saturday, April 15, the C&O Historical Society partnered with the Alleghany Humane Society on an adoption event at the Heritage Center in Clifton Forge.
Featured was a selection of fantastic dogs and cats in search of their forever home.
The weather was great along with the festivities of the day.
Big Al, from Highlands Media Group, broadcast the event live over radio station WKEY 103.5 Big Country, and food was provided by the Fincastle Baptist Church.
Several of the dogs, including Macy, Bowie, Mario and Carly, even had the opportunity to enjoy a train ride on little C&O.
