WARM SPRINGS — The Bath County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of break-ins in the northern part of the county.
The buildings which were broken into were hunting cabins. Forced entry was made to the back doors of the buildings. Locks and/or chains were cut to gain entry onto the property.
The following items have been reported stolen: 2016 Camo-colored Can AM fourwheeler; 2012 Kawasaki Mule, green in color; Homelite generator; 12-gauge shotgun; .22-caliber rifle with scope; assorted tools; assorted household items; antique red/blue vase; antique blue/greenish ceramic horse figurine; chain saw; camping equipment.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals responsible for these break-ins.
Anyone with information pertaining to these break-ins is asked to contact the Bath County Sheriff’s Office at 540-839-2375.
