Gail Lea Hoke Hise, 50, of Warm Springs, Virginia passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at her residence. 
 
She was born July 14, 1970 in Alleghany County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Bobby Hoke and Betty givens Hoke.
 
She was formerly employed with The Homestead Resort in the housekeeping department.
 
Gail was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her pets.
 
She is survived by her husband of eight years, John Henry Hise of Warm Springs; two children, Dalton Mitchell Nicely of Covington, Virginia and Tristan Lee Nicely of Warm Springs;  a brother, Bobby Hoke of Covington; a sister, Sylvia Moorman of Covington; and her mother-in-law, Barbara Robertson of Warm Springs.
 
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2020 at McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home with John Young officiating.
 
Arrangements are being handled by McLaughlin & Young Funeral Home.
