Mrs. Norma Lorene Warwick Leech, age 84, of Clifton Forge, died Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Brian Center Nursing Care – Alleghany, Low Moor.
Mrs. Leech was born August 23, 1936 in Fredericksburg, VA, the daughter of the late James Woods Warwick and Thelma Warwick McCallister.
She had been employed as a private sitter before her retirement. Norma enjoyed crocheting as well as doing word searches and coloring books. Known for not “beating around the bush” when she spoke, Norma enjoyed talking to and being with her own special group of friends.
Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Leech is survived by two daughters, Valerie Kay Marsden and friend, Ron of Las Vegas, NV and Lee Ann Byer and husband, Steve of La Plata, MD; four grandchildren, Aimee Marie Riggs, Benjamin Samuel Martin, Steven Kent “Tre” Byer, III and Corey Alan Riggs; eleven great grandchildren; two sisters, Brenda Warwick Perkins and Mary Ann Warwick Beirne, both of Covington; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Karen Rothwell.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Leech was preceded in death by a nephew.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Doug Hollenbeck officiating.
